Kapitbahayan sa Kalye Bautista atbp. Lugar, Inc. (KKB)

A non-stock, non-profit organization mobilized by students & adults from different fields who advocate for cultural & heritage preservation as part of a holistic social development, with particular interest in the district of Quiapo, Manila.

For KKB, heritage is people.

Vision and Mission

•       Its vision is preservation of Philippine cultural heritage through community development which is deeply embodied by its motto composed by fellow KKB member Stephen Pamorada, ‘hereditate et populi’ (heritage is people).

•       Its mission is divided into four categories:

- enrichment of self-awareness (pagkatao),

- effective interpersonal relationship (pakikipagkapwa-tao),

- basic training on different types of research and documentation,

- and lastly, preparation for volunteerism.

•       KKB envisions that the locals themselves will embody the vision and mission of the organization and to eventually be creative to formulate its own means of sustenance based on their available community resources.
